Roosters improving service/drunks everywhere
Roosters has been our spot in German Village for years, as a tradition. I really enjoyed taking my son and daughter to the Maddie Zahm Game on Saturday, May 15th. The wings were fantastic, as usual. We thought before the game to enjoy the rooftop and the kids really enjoyed looking out over the field and watching the air traffic. And we didn't know when our order was ready, it had been sitting in the pick up window for over 25 minutes without heat lamps. The wraps we ordered didn't have chicken in it, just some fried grease from fried chicken. My son loves the Maddie Zahm, he didn't move at all when we approached our seats in section 23. I have a younger daughter who likes to walk around a bit. As we reached the top of the 7th inning, we had to usher through the drunken people, and my son fell as a result of a guy with 6 empty cups of beer and a full one in the other hand. He was not paying attention to the 6-year-old walking beside him. The girls call names "locally", so I guess that if you're not up there and waiting, your food will sit. Needless to say, it was pretty upsetting having to walk nervously through a crowd of lots of drunken people. I enjoy a beer or two, but not in a family setting. The beer folks should be secluded somehow, or limit the number of beers. 6 would be my recommendation. But who am I? I'll just reconsider coming on a Saturday night, which would be perfect for me and my family.
